Course Description

Anxiety is a frequent symptom that can present in clients and their families. This webinar will introduce creative play-therapy interventions that will support your clients, and their families, in the playroom and in between sessions. Time will be spent exploring signs and play themes of anxiety in children, along with play therapy interventions to integrate in individual, family and group play therapy.

Learning Objectives

  1. Analyze play therapy techniques that are appropriate based on the child’s brain development.
  2. Compile play therapy interventions, for clients of all ages, to identify and reduce overall symptoms of anxiety in the playroom.
  3. Identify 2 play therapy techniques that will assist with parent buy-in and engagement with the child outside of play therapy sessions.
